Keep the Halloween spirit going with Historian Greg Caggiano and a look at the “other side” of history when the Lower Makefield Historical Society presents Haunted History: Exploring Central New Jersey's Historic Graveyards and the Remarkable People Buried There on Sunday, November 1. This free event, open to the public, will be held at 2 p.m. at the Lower Makefield Township Community Center, 1550 Oxford Valley Road, in Yardley, Pa.
A seasoned paranormal investigator, Caggiano has always been interested in things that go bump in the night at historic sites in New Jersey. In this presentation, he explores a historic military base, several houses with Revolutionary War notoriety, a creepy cemetery, and a Victorian mansion. And what would a Halloween-themed talk be without a visit from the Jersey Devil? History and myth intertwine in this spooky program.
Caggiano is an award-winning historian and author with two books on paranormal experiences at historic sites, most recently Legends and Hauntings of the Jersey Bayshore. He also hosts the New Jersey history online video series Ghosts on the Coast, which receives millions of views per month on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. He previously spoke to the Lower Makefield Historical Society on Jersey Shore Prohibition History. Learn more about Greg Caggiano at gregcaggiano.com.
